Curriculum & Program Development / Evaluation
One of our strengths at CoreVision is the ability to evaluate programs and produce either a curriculum or guidelines to accomplish program goals. If you have an existing program or are needing to develop one from scratch, we can help. We have the benefit of staff with years of experience in producing, maintaining, and marketing all sorts of personal development and outreach programs for various organizations. Your ideas and goals are all we need to help you put together a top notch training or initiative.

We follow a simple 5 step system for any organizational evaluation or development plan.
- Starting with the foundation, we examine the ultimate purpose of the organization or program. It is not always as simple as it might seem to identify the overall reason for whatever we do. There may be lots of goals that are being accomplished without a clear understanding of what ties them all together. Sometimes the program has taken on a life of its own because of funding or other concerns. Seeing the purpose is essential to meeting our goals and being successful.
2.The concept or method for achieving our purpose is the next priority. There may be several ways to accomplish our ends. The questions is; which way is best for our organization. The method or concept has to be consistent with our purpose and message.
3. Who is the target population? We need to understand who the recipients of our porgrams’s outreach will be. Are we focused on youth or single parent families? Are we targeting a specific ethnic group, or a certain economic class? Males or females? Inner city or rural? Understanding who we are serving determines the quality of the service.
4. We also need to know who is delivering the service. The teacher, counselor, trainer, caseworker, or group are as unique as those they serve. Our program delivery and curriculum needs to take into account the needs and abilities of those delivering it.
5. Time is limited. What is the time frame you have been allotted to develop or implement your program? You will want everything you do to be sufficient for the amount of time available. This is the final determining factor for a successful program or curriculum.
This is our simple process for development and evaluation of organizations, programs, and training materials. We will sit down with you on site and facilitate strategic planning sessions with you and your staff, or we will take your information into our lab and make recommendations accordingly..
